Yifei Jefferson Chen
Co-Founder and Director of Finance and Operations
Yifei has graduated from the University of Oxford with a Master’s in Chemistry. His experience in healthcare spans geographies and sectors: from China’s largest MedTech firm to the London office of the largest health data company in the world, all the way to a Berlin-based biotech firm developing innovative treatments for mental health. In international development, he worked for a South Asian development consulting firm and impact venture and advised on outreach strategy for a social incubator affiliated with the Office of the Vice President of Nigeria.
His most recent experience has been in finance as an investor in a venture capital company specialising in health tech innovations.
Alongside Klau, he conducted field research in Kaduna and Katsina states on different training models to develop a unique curriculum for the 2m+ beneficiaries of the Nigerian Environment Ministry's Renewable Energy Programme (RUWES).
