Céline Kamsteeg

Co-Executive Director

Céline has graduated from the University of Cambridge with an MPhil in Psychology & Education. She has previously worked as head of fundraising and programme manager in Kenya as well as in Lesvos, Greece. She has lived, studied and worked in six countries (Kenya, Egypt, Greece, the US, the UK, the Netherlands) and is an excellent intercultural communicator. Céline is involved with Effective Altruism Netherlands and her career is focused on doing the most good. Together with Klau, Céline has taken part in the Charity Entrepreneurship Incubation Programme, aimed at launching highly effective charities. Klau & Céline have been trained in leadership, strategic decision-making, fundraising, and more.

Previously in her career, Céline worked as a management consultant for the Berenschot firm, focusing on making the healthcare sector more effective. In this capacity, she has worked with and led stakeholder meetings with child protection services, hospitals and local governments. She has also worked as an examiner to determine whether social workers should obtain their professional registration. 

Celine’s research on psychotherapy has been published in multiple peer-reviewed academic journals.
